Our Privacy Statement

The trancemaker.co.uk website is the sole property of Trance Maker Limited, a registered limited company in the United Kingdom.  This document details what information we collect from visitors to our site and how it may be used.

The Information We Collect

We request information from our visitors on several forms within our site.  This information normally includes a name and email address.  We use this information to enable us to respond to the user and to contact the user in respect of services he/she may have expressed an interest towards.  We do not publish the email addresses of our visitors on our website.

Monthly Newsletter

We provide registered users with a Monthly Newsletter providing news and information about upcoming events and news concerning our site.  Users have the option to remove themselves from our mailing list at any time by sending an email to remove@trancemaker.co.uk.

Cookies

A cookie is a small piece of data stored on the visitor's computer which can then be linked to information about the user.   There are two types of cookie; Session ID Cookies and Persistent Cookies.

Session ID Cookies are normally created internally by our web server and are destroyed when the visitor closes his/her browser window.   Our web server creates Session ID Cookies internally and uses them to identify visitors when they are browsing our site.

Persistent Cookies are designed to remain on the visitors hard drive so that they can be used on subsequent visits to the site.   We sometimes use persistent cookies to improve our users experience of our site.  When used the cookies contain information such as the last visit date, whether the user has registered for our monthly newsletter, and which news stories have been read.

Usage Log Files

Similar to other web sites we use log files to track usage of our site.  The information we collect includes:

  2. Internet Service Provider (ISP),
  3. Browser Type,
  4. Platform Type,
  5. Referring Pages,
  6. Exit Pages,
  7. Date and Time,
  8. Navigation through our site,
  9. Some pertinent demographic information.

 Information Sharing

We do not share any information collected from our site with a third party unless we are required by law to do so, for instance to comply with a judicial proceeding, or a court order.

Links To Other Web Sites

This site contains links to other web sites.  Trance Maker cannot be responsible for the privacy practices of other sites and as such we encourage our visitors to read the privacy statement of each new web site that may collect personal information.

Amendments To Our Privacy Policy

If we need to revise our Privacy Policy we will notify every registered user to make them aware of the changes being made.  Users will have the option to request that we remove their details from our files should they wish to do so.
