If you have a hypnosis related question that you would like us to answer then ask it here.
What does it feel like to be hypnotised?
Everybody experiences trance differently - it is a unique experience. Most people find that trance is a pleasant, relaxing and tranquil experience. While hypnotised you will hear sounds around you but they won't seem to bother you. Once you are fully aware again you will recall everything that happened while you were in your trance. For more information on trances see here.
Can a hypnotist force me to do something against my will?
No. Your hypnotist cannot make you do anything that you would not normally do when you are fully aware. You cannot be made to commit crime or anything immoral against your normal standard code behaviour.
What if I don't reawaken from my hypnotic trance?
This is very, very rare and is normally because you are enjoying your trance so much that you want to prolong it. Your hypnotist will know how to handle this situation and will be able to reawaken you quickly.
